Our People

The people who work for us are recognised in the region as the best in their field, and we pride ourselves on our reputation for professionalism.

Our people are the key to our success

There are several reasons why we are regarded as the pre-eminent contractor in the region – and one of the most important is the quality of our people.

Our people are known for providing the highest levels of service – whether they are exploration drill rig operators, drilling sample analysts or a member of our senior management staff. They all operate at the highest levels of safety, and work to ensure each and every client signs off on their project secure in the knowledge that the very best results were achieved.

Talent and pride in the company runs deep

Throughout Ausdrill integrity and expertise is found in our employees – and because we work in partnership with our clients, they can be confident that their project’s development is in very safe hands.

We’re committed to a culture of training and integration for African Nationals, experts who bring an invaluable level of local knowledge to our sometimes challenging locations and sites.

Investing in the future

Some children, nieces and nephews of our employees now work for our company, and our employee educational scholarship program has assisted our employees in ensuring their dependents are educated.

Our apprenticeship programs have trained and qualified apprentices in a number of trades including maintenance, auto-electrical and fabrication.

We’re proud to say that over 75 Ghanaian Nationals work for AMS and Ausdrill as expatriates in our operations in Mali, Burkina Faso, Cote D’Ivoire, Tanzania and Zambia. Our people are universally recognised as being the best in the industry – another source of pride for us.

We are able to draw on a reservoir of talent thanks to our association with the Ausdrill group, a company that prides itself on the commitment of its workforce.
